About

Furasta Consulting

Furasta was set up in 2017 to help businesses make the most of legitimate tax incentives in a responsible, fair and efficient manner regardless of project size or complexity.

Claiming legitimate tax relief should not be burdensome and we help business navigate the complexity in the most efficient way to deliver value and avoid unnecessary risk. Furasta means 'easy' and that is what we want claiming allowances to be.

Furasta’s founder Bryan Crawford MSc MRICS ATT (Fellow) is well-respected in the industry having held senior positions in both large accountancy and surveying firms and growing/leading their specialist  capital allowances teams. He sits on a variety of technical committees and regularly provides articles, guidance and workshops.

He has a long track record of providing fact-based independent capital allowances and related tax advice on a wide variety of business investments. Under Bryan’s leadership, Furasta Consulting is committed to opening up the opportunities offered by legitimate tax incentives to all businesses regardless of size or project complexity.

“Bryan worked very closely with our engineering and finance teams gaining a strong understanding of the project expenditure and produced a very clear, concise Capital Allowances report and financial analysis which provided an audit trail back to the source data. Bryan is a very good communicator and Atlantis would not hesitate to use his services again or recommend him to other clients.”

Prior to me joining Murray Harcourt, my previous ten years were spent as a tax partner at Grant Thornton heading up the Yorkshire tax practice (Leeds and Sheffield offices).  Myself and my local tax team worked with Bryan and his national capital allowances team on a regular basis as Bryan headed up Grant Thornton’s national capital allowances practice.  Bryan helped us where his specialist input was required on complex capital allowances projects and technical input where necessary on large projects.  I would strongly recommend him as one of the leading capital allowance experts in the country.

"We were extremely glad we engaged Bryan early in the project planning process. What struck me was that such specialist tax advice should be an integral part of any development project rather than an afterthought. Bryan's experience and clear cut advice helped us navigate the extremely complex world of capital allowances and added considerable value to the overall project. I wouldn't hesitate to use Bryan again or recommend his advice in what is clearly a very specialist field."
